🌐 Global Materials & How to Unlock Them
Fear not, as we're here to explain and to navigate these waters with you!
❔ WHAT ARE GLOBAL MATERIALS & HOW TO UNLOCK THEM
Global Materials are materials found on the Global Map, and can only be collected by Global Ships.
To unlock these locations, you must first complete Global Jobs in regions, that appear in your Job List after finishing certain regional Story Jobs.
👀 WHAT TO DO, IF I DON'T HAVE A GLOBAL MATERIAL UNLOCKED AND A JOB IS ASKING FOR IT?
If you can’t finish a Job due to missing Global Materials, check which ones you need and unlock them by completing the required Regional Story Jobs.
Jobs may request Global Materials starting 40 levels after opening a new map, so it’s best to unlock them early to avoid getting stuck.

▶️ R.01 SAN FRANCISCO Only Tanker Fuel Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Start the game at Level 1 → finish the Job Lines Coal Mine → Landslide → Waterway Barrier → Golden Gate Bridge → Burning Ship → Global Ship
▶️ R.03 BERGEN Only Ro/Ro Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Reach lvl. 40 > complete Job Lines "A path through the ice > "Global Ship" to unlock materials
▶️ R.04 OSAKA Only Tanker Chemical Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Reach lvl. 100 > complete Job Lines "Shinkansen bridge" > "Global Ship" to unlock materials
▶️ R.05 LE HAVRE Only Reefer Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Reach lvl. 200 > complete Job Lines "Canal Lock" > "Hotel Château" > "Global Ship" to unlock materials
▶️ R.06 RIO Only Bulk Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Reach lvl. 300 > complete Job Lines "Promenade" > "Ship accident" > "Global Ship" to unlock materials
▶️ R.07 HAMBURG Only Cargo Ships can collect these materials.
You can unlock these Global Materials by completing Job Lines: ▶️ Reach lvl. 400 > complete Job Lines "Dockland" > "Global Ship" to unlock materials
▶️ R.08 INSTANBUL Only Tanker Chemical Ships can collect these materials.
