Having lag, crashes, untextured buildings, or loading problems?
Most issues are usually caused by insufficient operational memory (RAM), full cache, or corrupted update files.
Follow the guide below to get your port running smoothly again.
COMMON ISSUES & QUICK CAUSES
Visual Lag / Low FPS:
Often caused by full RAM, low-power mode, or background appsWhite / Textureless Buildings:

UNIVERSAL FIXES: STEP-BY-STEP
A. Free Up Device RAM & Cache
(Real-time memory affects startup and responsiveness; it is different from storage)

Close all active apps via the app switcher (not just the back button)
Remove heavy home screen widgets and delete unused apps
Restart your device to wipe temporary memory and background tasks

Close open apps and restart your device
Quick RAM Clear (Devices with Home Button)
Hold Sleep/Wake until the power-off slider appears β hold the Home button until the screen flashes back to the Home screenQuick RAM Clear (AssistiveTouch)
Settings β Accessibility β Touch β Enable AssistiveTouch β Go to Settings β General β Shut Down β Open AssistiveTouch and long-press the on-screen Home button
B. Redownload Game Files
(Fixes White Buildings, Freezes & Reverts)
β IMPORTANT (Android users): Before uninstalling, ensure your game is linked to Google Play in the game Settings so you do not lose your profile.
π€ Android (Reinstall)
Uninstall Port City
Restart your device
Reinstall from Google Play and relaunch
π iOS (Offload App β Safe from data loss)
Open Settings β General β iPhone Storage
Tap Port City β select Offload App (this deletes game files without removing your account data)
Tap Reinstall App and relaunch
C. In-Game Battery / FPS Settings
Check the in-game Battery Saver toggle:
Green Mode: Optimized power saving, capped at 30 FPS
Red / Performance Mode: Higher responsiveness and frame rate, capped at 60 FPS (uses more battery)
