Heavy Hauls

Heavy Hauls are a special type of challenge, where players are tasked with delivering large amounts of cargo, requiring selecting multiple locomotives at once, while ensuring they all meet the Heavy Haul requirements.
The important part is that Heavy Haul offers a different kind of challenge; one that focuses more on strategy & setup.

In case you have an available Heavy Haul job, this icon will appear in your trainyard:

Heavy Haul Objective

To complete a Heavy Haul job, players must fill the train slots shown in the Heavy Haul interface. The goal is to assemble trains whose combined Power meets or exceeds the job's required total Power.

Keep in mind that it is still necessary to meet the minimum durability requirement as well

After selecting a Heavy Haul job, players will be presented with numerous slots. These slots can only be filled after meeting their requirements. Fill as many of the slots as you need in order to reach the max train power!

Special Requirements

Some train slots display icons — these indicate specific requirements, and only eligible trains can be placed in those slots.

Slots without icons accept any train, though each train must still meet the minimum durability requirement.

Slots with icons have specific eligibility rules:

• Train power requirement: The train’s Power must be equal to or greater than the slot’s required Power.

• Era/Year requirement: Only trains acquired during the specified Era (year) are eligible for that slot.
