Known Bugs and Issues – Rail Yard 2.0
Please make sure to download the latest version of the app 2.0.3, as it includes some fixes!
We would like to share a list of currently known issues in Rail Yard 2.0 that our team is already aware of and working to fix.
1. Passenger Jobs – Some passenger trains are not displayed during dispatch
When trying to dispatch a train for a passenger job, trains that are currently:
in maintenance, or
arriving
may not be displayed in the train selection list.
Status: Fixed!
2. Sound can still be heard even when muted
In some factories, sound effects may still play even if the game sound has been muted in the settings.
Status: Fixed!
3. Dispatched trains may get stuck on “Waiting for rails”
In some cases, dispatched trains may remain stuck in the status:
“Waiting for rails”
This may happen especially when multiple trains are sent at the same time.
Temporary workaround: Please try reloading the app.
Status: Fixed!
4. Company Tasks – Upgrade the Freight Car Depot and
Upgrade the Freight Car depot
Some players are currently unable to complete the company task “Upgrade the Freight Car Depot” and
"Upgrade the Freight Car depot."
Status: Fixed!
5. Cargo – Material shows as 0 even though it is in the warehouse
Some players may see 0 available material when trying to load cargo for an job, even though they have enough material in the warehouse.
This is not a bug. It usually means you do not have enough available freight cars to send that cargo.
What to do:
buy more freight cars, or
wait for the freight cars that are currently in use to return
Not able to complete the task - Establish a regular line - not a bug
Players who cannot complete the Company Task "Establish a Regular Line for Coal,..." because the Regular Line building is missing must first finish all cargo jobs for the era. Once those jobs are completed, the task will become available.
Task - Produce products in the Sawmill
To complete this task, you must collect the produced goods from the Sawmill/Factory.
Task - Sawmill Constructions
If you can’t build the sawmill and only see a hand tapping the ground where it should appear (this occurs in the 1930 era), please contact our support team directly. You can contact our support team directly from within the game—this option is available in the game settings.
Doubled Rewards Animation Temporarily Shows Incorrect Material Totals
After collecting doubled rewards, materials are added instantly, but the reward animation may briefly display misleading changes before returning to the correct amount. We're aware of this issue, and our team is actively working on a fix. Rest assured, it's just a display problem where the number of items is shown incorrectly. Our tech team has confirmed that players aren't losing their rewards; it's just the wrong number being displayed.
This will be resolved in the upcoming updates.
