Challenges ๐ฏ
What is it for
This feature is an additional part of the game where you can earn rewards as you play. The challenges are structured either as Milestone challenges (similar to an Event Pass) or Leaderboard challenges (similar to a Competition).
Challenges are shorter in duration.
How to access the Challenges
Challenges can be accessed through the Event hub located on the right side of your game screen.
Challenges are divided into three categories - Event Challenges, Global Challenge, Union Challenge.
1. Event Challenges
- Active during an Event
- They have a 24 hour duration
- Tasks and rewards are often tied to an event. Rewards can also help you progress through the event faster.
- These Challenges are either Milestone ones or Leaderboard ones.

2. Global Milestone Challenges
- These Challenges are not related to another mechanic in the game (Events).
- They involve various requirements, such as dispatching your trains, while playing through the browser version will earn you more points.
- Only Global Milestone Challenge (not a Leaderboard one).
Please note that all players must work together and join the Challenge to reach the required contribution before anyone can claim rewards.
3. Union Challenges
These Challenges are connected to the Union feature in the game. By participating in the Challenges, you'll obtain rewards that will be valuable in your next Union journeys!
Please note that the setup of these Challenges is intended to embrace loyalty to your Union, for which you'll be nicely rewarded!
Keep in mind:
- You have to be in a Union at the start of a Challenge to participate
- You will only be able to participate or claim rewards from the Challenge, if you stay in the same Union
